We are an engaged team of faculty, residents, fellows, students, and partners dedicated to advancing the way pharmacy is practiced in our communities, regionally, nationally, and across the globe. We believe every person should have access to pharmacist-provided care in their communities. We are committed to ensuring the best practice tools, education, and policies are widely accessible to make a difference in the way people achieve better health.

Established and leading the ACT (Academia-CPESN Transformation) Pharmacy Collaborative funded by the Community Pharmacy Foundation. A nationwide initiative to engage schools and faculty nationwide who are teaching and engaged with community pharmacy practice transformation.

Launched the Pharmacy Innovation Network (PIN), a research network for community pharmacies and pharmacists interested in partnering on research initiatives to improve care to people in communities.

Leading Pennsylvania’s statewide initiative to Flip The Pharmacy to facilitate the provision of enhanced patient care services in over 40 community pharmacies, many of which serve rural areas and/or underserved populations

Formally established the Community Leadership & Innovation in Practice (CLIP) Center within PittPharmacy to be the School’s home for community-focused faculty, staff, students, and programs

P2 Experiential Learning designed to simulate a community pharmacy enhanced services network. All 114 P2 students have 12, 8-hour sessions at a community pharmacy location providing and documenting, and “billing” for patient care to simulate the working of a clinically integrated network
